The Second Grade Summer Prep Workbook is filled with over 110+ pages of math, reading, writing, and phonics practice pages. This is designed for students entering 2nd Grade in the fall of 2024.
The workbook will review concepts from first grade such as place value, time & money, fact families, problem solving, addition and subtraction, greater than/less than, and fractions.
Language concepts include reading comprehension, grammar, parts of speech, writing prompts, alphabetical order, homophones, irregular verbs, and inflectional endings. Phonics and spelling skills, such as vowel diphthongs, trigraphs, r-controlled vowels, and ghost letters, will be reviewed.
