Currently August 2015

It's been awhile, but I'm linking up with Farley from Oh' Boy 4th Grade for Currently August.
Listening: Shhhhh.  Silence is golden.  =)
Loving: I updated my Back to School trifold brochure, and I'm so happy with the way it turned out.  What do you think?  I love that I can give parents all the information they need on ONE sheet of paper.  #winning
Thinking:  It's the 1st day in a loooong time that we don't have any plans.  What should we do?  (Me, hubby, 2-year old, 10-month old)  Pool or splash pad?  Perot science museum?  Walk around the mall?  It's going to be 100 degrees...Ah!
Wanting: Time.  My days pass so quickly!  Baby Jack is going to be ONE next month.  I can't even.  There's just not enough time in the day to get everything done!
Needing:  We leave on Friday to visit my hubby's family.  Flying with 2 babies.  Eek.
B2S RAK: If you live in the Dallas area, you've heard of Tiff's Treats.  They deliver HOT, freshly baked cookies to your doorstep!  They are amazing!!  Way better than flowers ;)

  1. Hi, Liz! That golden silence is THE BEST! I love the moments at night when my kids have gone to sleep and I can take a breath. Your brochure looks amazing! I hope you and your family have a wonderful trip and enjoy the rest of your summer.

  2. Definitely a water activity if it's going to be 100 degrees out. I love the brochure, such a smart idea! I completely understand the bed time battle too.

  3. Your brochure turned out great! Your weather sounds like mine, water fun or somewhere with an AC would be on my agenda, lol. Yes, cherish those moments of silence and those babies, because neither of them last for too long. Ok, I am not in the Dallas area, but warm goodies delivered to your door, wow! Wish we had something like that. Enjoy your family day tomorrow, whatever you decide to do.

  4. You're so right about the brochure. Less is more! I love how young teachers know so much about technology and make things so bright and fun for the students and parents. Love it! I teach 3rd grade.

  5. Oooo! I love Tiff's Treat's! It was an extra delivery charge to get them delivered to my campus last year, but we did it anyway! My new district is too far for delivers. Boo! Your brochure is so stinkin' cute!
