Word Work Magnets

Let's get organized. Keep letter magnets sorted and organized for word work.
Raise your hand if you have A LOT of magnets in your classroom! #guilty
Magnets are great for word building, word families, work word, spelling, centers, small groups... The list goes on and on. However, storing and organizing all of these magnets can be tricky. If the magnets aren't accessible, kiddos spend FOREVER looking for the magnet they need. Ain't nobody got time for that. :)
Today, I'm going to share a few ideas for magnet storage.
First, it was time for me to splurge and buy an organizer to sort my alphabet magnets by letter. I found this one on Amazon, but I know you could find something very similar at a craft store (Michael's, JoAnns, Hobby Lobby, etc.)
Classroom organization tip for word work center and magnetic letters
It's not as important to keep themed magnets sorted, so for those, I like these stackable Sterilite containers. They do not take up much space and stack well. {Found them at Target}
Use small stackable containers to keep classroom magnets separated and stored neatly
A basket or bin from The Dollar Spot works well for themed magnets too.

Let's be honest. Organizing magnets was really fun and made me super happy. LOL. #teacherlife
