Sneezy the Snowman by Maureen Wright is one of my favorite read aloud stories for winter. Sneezy is such a lovable and silly character. I've created a fun set of printable activities to accompany the book. You will find a variety of reading, writing, grammar, and math worksheets that can be used to review important concepts after reading Sneezy's story. These printables are designed for first graders, but the majority can be used with students in Kindergarten and second grade as well.
Some of the skills and concepts included are retelling, story elements, parts of speech, putting words in alphabetical order, synonyms & antonyms, and beginning blends. You can see a few examples below, but check out my TpT store for a full preview.
Students will have the chance to respond to the story with several fun writing prompts.
Finally, you can use the bonus winter math worksheets for morning work, independent practice, or homework.
If you need emergency sub plans, grab a copy of Sneezy the Snowman. Then download and print these activities from my TpT store, and you will be set in no time!
